The idea behind the event
In recent years, amid the growing momentum toward open science, particularly with rising open-access APCs and the need to adapt to AI usage, the academic publishing landscape has shifted dramatically. Many researchers feel uncertain about where and how to share their valuable work, as well as how to broaden their publication portfolio.

To address these concerns, we are hosting this pilot event to offer a space for direct engagement with representatives from university presses and commercial publishers. We hope this opportunity allows early-career researchers and those looking to expand their publication options to gain insights into the realities of publishing beyond online information, helping them establish new connections and find fresh pathways for sharing their research.
